Lakers Gaming announced today that the team has retained Sten “SAV” Valge-Saar and Wady “Tactuk” Tactuk for the upcoming NBA 2K League season.
After being selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2020 NBA 2K League Draft, SAV averaged a team-high 32.9 points (.580 FG%, .410 3PT%), 8.6 assists and 1.1 steals and finished in the top five for the 2020 NBA 2K League Rookie of the Year award. SAV scored in double figures in every game of his rookie season and tallied 17 double-doubles.
Tactuk, selected with the 24th overall pick in the 2020 NBA 2K League Draft, averaged 9.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.6 blocks per game. Splitting time between the center and shooting guard positions, Tactuk recorded career-highs of 22 points, 21 rebounds, eight steals and eight blocks in his first year in the league.
